Keith Lodge Royal Ark Mariners

Keith Lodge Royal Ark Mariners No. 44, meeting in Peterhead, is a valued part of the wider family of companion Masonic degrees, offering members a unique and enjoyable extension to their Masonic journey.

The Royal Ark Mariner Degree is closely associated with the Mark and Cryptic degrees and is centred on the story of Noah and the Ark, with its themes of faith, perseverance, and hope. Rich in symbolism and tradition, it provides a distinctive experience that combines meaningful teaching with a strong sense of fellowship.

The Degree itself dates back to the 18th century, developing alongside other companion degrees as Freemasonry expanded. Over time, it became firmly established within Scottish Masonry as a respected and much-enjoyed order.
