On behalf of the Management Board, we welcome you to Peterhead Masonic Temple — a centre for Freemasonry, tradition, and community.
Owned by Keith Lodge of Peterhead No.56 and Lodge St. James No.256, the Temple brings together Lodges, Masonic Orders, and the Social Club, providing a place where members meet, socialise, and support charitable work.

The Building
Originally purchased and converted around 1920, the building has developed into a spacious and versatile facility, spanning multiple levels and supporting a wide range of Masonic meetings, social activities, and events.

The Temple is home to Craft Lodges and a wide range of Masonic Orders, offering members the opportunity to continue their journey through Freemasonry.
From Lodge meetings to companion degrees, the Temple supports a rich and active Masonic structure.
Masonic Social Club
Affectionately known as “the club” or simply “the Masons”, the Masonic Social Club provides a relaxed and welcoming space for members to socialise and enjoy everything the club has to offer.
- Fully stocked bar with pool table, darts, jukebox & 85” 4K TV
- Two function suites (70–100 capacity)
- Live entertainment and bingo throughout the year
- Snooker room and catering facilities
